Southern Utah University Water Lab
The short version. A filtered-water sample from our Cedar City location was submitted to the Southern Utah University Water Lab and cross-tested through two accredited partner labs (Chemtech-Ford and ACZ Laboratories). Every heavy-metal, pesticide, PCB, herbicide, volatile organic compound, and radiological screen came back within or well below federal safe-drinking-water standards. The minerals that make water taste alive, calcium, magnesium, potassium, sodium, were preserved.
What was tested. A full EPA-panel screen covering more than 130 individual parameters.
- Heavy metals, mercury, lead, cadmium, arsenic, antimony, thallium, chromium: not detected or below detection limits
- Uranium, 0.0005 ug/L (EPA limit is 30 ug/L)
- Nitrate + nitrite, 0.276 mg/L (EPA limit is 10 mg/L)
- All volatile organic compounds, benzene, TCE, PCE, MTBE and 50+ others: not detected
- All regulated pesticides + herbicides: not detected
- Gross alpha radiation 1.1 pCi/L (EPA action level is 15 pCi/L)
- Preserved minerals, calcium 25.8 mg/L, magnesium 9.88 mg/L, potassium 4.48 mg/L, sodium 10.3 mg/L
- Total dissolved solids, 208 mg/L (well within the ideal 100 to 300 range)
Reverse osmosis strips everything, including the alkalizing minerals your body needs. HydraZorb removes contaminants selectively and leaves those minerals in. This report is the evidence.
